Shut Up and Write at UQ

The Brisbane SIGCHI Chapter is hosting a series of pomodoro-style Shut Up and Write sessions in 2025. Come along if you’d like some focused time for any writing you need to do.

When: 1-5 pm on following days:

  • May 20 – Andrew N. Liveris Building (46), Room 914
  • July 15 – General Purpose South Building (78), Room 224
  • September 16 – Location TBA
  • November 18 – Location TBA

BYO your preferred writing device/utensils. If you like to listen to music while you write, please also BYO headphones.

What is Pomodoro?

Pomodoro is a time management technique, in which you work on a single activity for 25 minutes, then take a 5 minute break. After 3 or 4 working sessions, you take a half-hour break.
